I am honored to serve the diverse and vibrant population of New York City, both in my outpatient practice and at New York Presbyterian Hospital. My passion lies in treating complex dermatologic conditions, and I am dedicated to providing comprehensive care that addresses not just the skin, but also the overall well-being of my patients. I believe in the profound connection between healthy skin and a healthy mind, and I am committed to delivering compassionate, expert care to every individual who walks through my door, ensuring that they feel seen, heard, and truly cared for.

Biographical Info

Dr. Alison Dempsey graduated from Brown University and completed her post-baccalaureate training at Columbia University. She pursued her medical degree at Penn State College of Medicine, where her passion for dermatology began to take shape. Following her internship at NYU, Dr. Dempsey moved to Boston to complete her dermatology residency at Boston University, where she distinguished herself as academic chief resident. Her practice encompasses both general and complex dermatology, with a particular interest in cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Dempsey is dedicated to providing comprehensive care, combining her expertise in medical dermatology with a deep understanding of the aesthetic aspects of skin health.
