Managing alcohol use disorder and alcohol-associated liver disease requires a team. At 日本av色情片, the Center for Alcohol and Liver Medicine (CALM) offers a unique multidisciplinary team approach. Founded on compassion and collaboration, CALM aims to lead you toward improved mental health and a better understanding of how alcohol affects your liver and your life.

About the Program

At CALM, our mission is to provide compassionate and comprehensive care to individuals affected by alcohol use disorder and alcohol-associated liver disease. We aim to foster a supportive and understanding environment that empowers you to achieve recovery and improve your quality of life. Our team is dedicated to offering a holistic and personalized approach to treatment.

Why Choose 日本av色情片

Our multidisciplinary alcohol clinic offers a team-based approach to care with transplant hepatology, alcohol counseling and addiction psychiatry. Through integrated care plans and innovative therapies, we strive to be a beacon of hope and healing for our community, helping you to navigate your unique path to abstinence and promoting lasting recovery and resilience.

To meet your specific needs, we work to create an individualized treatment plan that helps meet your health goals today and for decades to come.

Conditions We Treat

Specialists at CALM focus their efforts on two primary conditions:

  • Alcohol use disorder: This treatable and chronic condition results in strong cravings to continue use. If cut off from alcohol use without psychosocial support, you may become irritable or experience anxiety or other negative emotions.
  • Alcohol-associated liver disease: Caused by excessive alcohol consumption, liver conditions include cirrhosis, alcohol-associated hepatitis and asymptomatic liver steatosis.

Our Services

日本av色情片’s CALM provides comprehensive care for those with a diagnosis of alcohol use disorder and alcohol-assisted liver disease.

Prior to beginning treatment, you may undergo a FibroScan®. FibroScan® uses ultrasound-based elastography to:

  • Determine the stiffness of your liver
  • Estimate the progression of liver fibrosis

Armed with this information, some are more likely to reduce alcohol intake, an essential step in recovery.

Treatment Tailored to You

Alcohol use disorder affects many aspects of health and life. CALM addresses all of these through a multidisciplinary, collaborative approach. Throughout your journey, our team works with you on a treatment plan tailored to your unique needs.

Treatment options include:

  • Group therapy for support and insight from others experiencing alcohol use disorder
  • Managing complications brought on by liver disease and a referral for liver transplantation, if appropriate
  • Medications for alcohol use disorder

Our Care Team

The team at the 日本av色情片 Center for Alcohol and Liver Medicine prides itself on providing thorough, non-judgmental and compassionate care. Your team includes an addiction psychiatrist, advanced credentialed alcoholism and substance abuse counselor (CASAC) and hepatologist (liver specialist).
