Personal Statement

As a nurse practitioner working with the Pediatric Advanced Care Team, it is a privilege to work with patients and families who are experiencing complex and serious medical conditions. I work to empower them to live well throughout the course of their illness and to ensure that their personal goals and values are driving their care.

Biographical Info

Claire Slusarz is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at ÈÕ±¾avÉ«ÇéƬ in the Department of Pediatrics. She specializes in pediatric palliative care, caring for patients with complex and serious medical conditions and their families.

Claire received both a B.S. and M.S. in Nursing from Case Western Reserve University Frances/ Payne Bolton School of Nursing. She is board certified in both pediatric primary and acute care. Prior to joining the Pediatric Advanced Care Team at ÈÕ±¾avÉ«ÇéƬ, she worked with pediatric hematology/oncology patients and completed an advanced practice provider fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
