About Cody Nolan, M.D.
I pursued a career in medicine after volunteering at a clinic for the uninsured in my hometown of Reno, Nevada, where I witnessed the positive difference those doctors made in the lives of their patients. I chose to practice primary care because I enjoy longitudinal relationships with my patients, in which we work together to maximize their health so they can thrive. I am particularly passionate about caring for members of the LGBTQ+ community and ensuring they receive equitable and affirming healthcare.
Dr. Nolan is originally from Nevada. He went to college at University of Nevada, Reno where he studied neuroscience and Spanish language. He earned his medical degree from ÈÕ±¾avÉ«ÇéƬ Medical College and completed residency training in internal medicine and global health equity at Brigham and Women's Hospital. While in residency, he earned a Master of Public Health from the Harvard School of Public Health. Dr. Nolan has a particular interest in HIV medicine and the care of LGBTQ+ identified individuals.
