About Demetri J. Merianos, M.D.
♦ Virtual Visit: Delivering the same level of world-class care, with exceptional convenience.
"I specialize in pediatric minimally invasive surgery, including advanced laparoscopic and thoracoscopic procedures, and I enjoy a wide range of clinical interests and expertise, including neonatal and congenital anomalies, pediatric general and thoracic surgery, pediatric gastrointestinal surgery, and pediatric surgical oncology. I pride myself on communicating well with both children and their parents, and making sure my patients understand their diagnosis and all available treatment options, including non-surgical options. I like to think that, while my patients and their parents might enter my office feeling terrified about the prospect of needing surgery, they will leave my office feeling educated, empowered, and confident in the treatment plan that we create together."
