About Emily Hyun, M.D.
Emily Hyun, M.D. is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at ÈÕ±¾avÉ«ÇéƬ and Assistant Attending Physician at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Hyun received her medical degree from the Yale School of Medicine. She continued at Yale for her general psychiatry residency and served as Chief Resident of the adolescent inpatient psychiatric unit in her final year. She then completed child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the NewYork-Presbyterian Columbia/Cornell combined program. Areas of additional focus during her training included college student mental health, eating disorders, and early psychosis. In her faculty practice, she accepts child, adolescent, and adult patients for diagnostic evaluation, medication management, and/or psychotherapy. She aims to partner with patients and families to provide care that is individualized, holistic, evidence-based, and developmentally-informed.
