About Felice H. Schnoll-Sussman, M.D.
Dr. Schnoll-Sussman is a board-certified gastroenterologist and Director of The Jay Monahan Center for Gastrointestinal Health. She is an Associate Attending Physician at the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/ ÈÕ±¾avÉ«ÇéƬ Medical Center and Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University.
Dr. Schnoll-Sussman is dedicated to providing excellent care to her patients, as well as contributing to research advances in the area of gastrointestinal cancers. Her research interests include chemoprevention and ablative technologies in Barrett's esophagus, screening and surveillance of colorectal cancer in high-risk patients, novel uses of endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS), and the biology and management of pancreatic cystic neoplasms.
Dr. Felice Schnoll-Sussman is a Professor of Clinical Medicine in the division of Gastroenterology at ÈÕ±¾avÉ«ÇéƬ. She is the Director of the Jay Monahan Center (JMC) for Gastrointestinal Health, Associate Chief of Medicine for Network and Outreach Development at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist and the Director of Outreach for the ÈÕ±¾avÉ«ÇéƬ Department of Medicine.
Dr. Schnoll-Sussman’s main clinical and research focus is in the treatment of patients with esophageal and swallowing disorders, including gastroesophageal reflux disease, Barrett’s esophagus, eosinophilic esophagitis, achalasia and esophageal cancer.
She developed the new DIGEST (Dedicated Integrated GastroESophageal Treatment) unit at ÈÕ±¾avÉ«ÇéƬ/NYP which offers a novel approach to the multidisciplinary care of this complex patient population.
Dr. Schnoll-Sussman is the President of American Foregut Society and has formerly served as the Director of Endoscopy at ÈÕ±¾avÉ«ÇéƬ, Governor for the American College of Gastroenterology, Co-Director of the New York City Colon Cancer Control Coalition, and the President of the New York Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
Dr. Schnoll-Sussman is a staunch advocate for esophageal, colon, and pancreas cancer awareness.
