About Jeffrey Kubiak, M.D.
Dr. Jeffrey Kubiak received his Bachelor of Science degree summa cum laude in Biology from Georgetown University in 2011. After which, he received his MD, PhD degrees from the University of Pennsylvania. His PhD is in cellular molecular biology which he received in 2018; and, then in 2019, he received his MD degree from the Perlman School of Medicine at UPenn. After graduation, he did a residency in clinical pathology at ÈÕ±¾avÉ«ÇéƬ – New York Presbyterian Hospital and then moved to Boston to complete a fellowship in medical microbiology at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School. In 2023, he accepted a position as assistant professor of pathology and laboratory medicine at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. Dr. Kubiakis board certified from the American Board of Pathology in clinical pathologyas well as in medical microbiology. He also received his boards from the American Board of Medical Microbiology in the field of medical and public health microbiology. From 2017 to the present, he has received several awardsfrom the American Society for Clinical Pathology, the Academy of ClinicalLaboratory Physicians and Scientists as well as from the American Society forMicrobiology. Currently, he has published 12 peer reviewed research articlesand one case report in the area of medical microbiology.
