About Jatin H. Joshi, M.D.
My practice focuses on a multidisciplinary approach that closely meets individual needs. I utilize technologically advanced treatment modalities, alternative and complementary therapies, as well as physical rehabilitation. I also work closely with referring phyisicans to provide patients with individualized treatment plans using evidence based medicine.
My goals are to optimize pain control, enhance function, improve physical and psychological well-being, and lift the quality of life of my patients.
Dr. Jatin Joshi is a double-board certified anesthesiologist and interventional pain management physician. He serves as the Director of Quality and Patient Safety and Director of Pain Education in the Division of Pain Meidicne at ÈÕ±¾avÉ«ÇéƬ.
After his residency in anesthesiology at Massachusetts General Hospital (Harvard Medical School), Dr. Joshi completed a fellowship in interventional pain medicine at ÈÕ±¾avÉ«ÇéƬ, Hospital for Special Surgery, and Memorial-Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
Dr. Joshi obtained his undergraduate degree in public health and his medical degree from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a Distinguished Medical Scholar. He is also a Harry S. Truman Scholar, a distinguished fellowship given by the US government to individuals showing exemplary public service.
Dr. Joshi specializes in treating a range of chronic and acute pain issues, including back/neck/joint pain, sciatica, spinal stenosis, and musculoskeletal pain. His clinical focus is on spinal cord stimulation and other minimally invasive procedures to treat spinal problems, joint, and neuropathic pain, and complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS)/reflex sympathetic dystrophy (RSD). These therapies include peripheral nerve stimulation, radiofrequency ablation, and epidural and joint steroid inejctions.
