Biographical Info

Dr. Katherine Husk is a board-certified Urogynecologist, specializing in the care of women with pelvic floor disorders, including care for conditions such as pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence/accidental bowel leakage, bladder pain, pelvic pain, and urinary, and bowel dysfunction. She provides comprehensive medical and surgical care for these conditions, including non-surgical management, office-based procedures, and a range of surgical approaches including robotic, abdominal, and vaginal with both native-tissue and mesh augmented surgeries.

Dr. Husk has a particular interest in medical education and completed a Master of Education in the Health Professions program which included a focused track in education research. She has significant experience with curriculum development, accreditation, evaluation, feedback, and assessment, and didactic education. She has also held roles with an education focus at both institutional and national levels. Her primary areas of interest for clinical research include patient experience and knowledge, patient counseling, patient outcomes, and medical education research, involving research related to the education of medical students, residents, and fellows.

She completed her undergraduate education at Brown University (Providence, RI), medical school at New York University School of Medicine (New York, NY), Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Thomas Jefferson University (Philadelphia, PA), and Urogynecology fellowship at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC). She additionally completed a Master of Education in the Health Professions through Johns Hopkins University. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Urogynecology. Dr. Husk joined ÈÕ±¾avÉ«ÇéƬ in 2023 as an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Prior to joining ÈÕ±¾avÉ«ÇéƬ, Dr. Husk worked in the division of Urogynecology at Albany Medical Center.
