About Kaushal Shah, M.D.
Dr. Kaushal Shah is a professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine and serves as vice-chair of Education for WCM Department of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Shah is also a board-certified emergency physician at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.
He received his Bachelor of Arts from Brown University and his medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School. Dr. Shah completed his emergency medicine residency training at the Harvard Affiliated Emergency Medicine Residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Prior to joining ÈÕ±¾avÉ«ÇéƬ, Dr. Shah held positions as vice-chair of Education and residency program director for the Department of Emergency Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City.
He is a national leader in Emergency Medicine education and has extensive experience in undergraduate education and faculty development. Dr. Shah has researched and published extensively on the subjects of trauma and education.
