Personal Statement

"My mission as a physician is to improve and influence the care of women’s health, particularly during and after pregnancy, with a special focus on mental health. I try to adhere to this mission in three ways: 1) by conducting research into the causes and outcomes of perinatal mental health disorders 2) by educating students, clinicians, the public, and policy makers on the unique issues surrounding women’s mental health and 3) by providing outstanding clinical care for women suffering from mental illness at times of reproductive transition. I’m thrilled to bring this mission to ÈÕ±¾avÉ«ÇéƬ and to embed women’s mental health within the obstetrics and gynecology setting."
