Biographical Info

Dr. Pantrangi is joining ÈÕ±¾avÉ«ÇéƬ from the Columbia University Medical Center, where she is currently completing a fellowship in Laboratory Genetics and Genomics (LGG), with a special emphasis on Molecular geneics and Cytogenetics.

Dr. Pantrangi received her doctoral degree in Genetics from the University of Delhi, in India, where she was quite productive, including five first-author publications in agricultural molecular biology. She then pivoted to microbial genetics during a postdoctoral research fellowship at the Marshfield Clinic in Wisconsin, where she conducted important work on virulence factors associated with Staph aureus infections, resulting in seven publications, two as first author (Pantrangi, et al., Clin Med Res, 2015; Pantrangi, et al., FEMSMicrobiol Lett, 2010).
