Whether dealing with conditions like macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, or uveitis, I strive to provide a compassionate and supportive environment for patients and their families during their treatment at our institution. My goalis to deliver the highest quality medical and surgical care usingstate-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment technologies. I create individualized treatment plans based on strong scientific evidence and cutting-edge research. My patients come from diverse backgrounds, and some come to establish long term care while others seek a single consultation for a second opinion. I am dedicated to meeting your eye care needs and look forward to working with youto safe guard your vision.

Biographical Info

Dr. Khan began his training in Texas, earning his undergraduate degree summa cum laude with honors from Baylor University and then completing his medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine. He then pursued an internship in General Surgery at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, followed by Ophthalmology residency and Vitreoretinal Surgery fellowship at ÈÕ±¾avÉ«ÇéƬ Medical College. Dr. Khan served as chief resident during his residency at ÈÕ±¾avÉ«ÇéƬ, reflecting his leadership and expertise. After his fellowship training in Vitreoretinal Surgery he was recruited to join the faculty at the ÈÕ±¾avÉ«ÇéƬ Medical College where he serves as Associate Professor of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Khan’s clinical focus includes complex vitreoretinal surgeries and the treatment of age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment and more. His research spans retinal imaging and bioinformatics, and he participates in clinical trials within ophthalmology and retina. He has been involved in numerous studies and has authored over 30 scientific publications. Dr. Khan has delivered lectures nationally and continues to participate in vitreoretinal surgery conferences worldwide to further advance the field. Dr. Khan is committed to resident and fellow education remains devoted to advancing retinal care through research, education, and clinical excellence.
