About Marianne Nellis, M.D., M.S.
I specialize in the care of the critically ill child. Though it is a difficult time and involves complex care, my goal is to make the experience of a child in our ICU and their family as smooth as possible. This is accomplished through compassionate care and frequent communication. In addition, through my research endeavors, I hope to make the transfusion of blood products to children as safe as possible.
Dr. Marianne Nellis graduated from Colgate University with a BA in biochemistry in 1999. She received her medical degree from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in 2003. After completing her residency in pediatrics at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/ÈÕ±¾avÉ«ÇéƬ Medical Center, she served an additional year as chief resident. Dr. Nellis worked abroad in pediatric intensive care units at Soroka University Medical Center (in Beersheva, Israel) and Safra Children’s Hospital at Sheba Medical Center (in Tel Aviv, Israel).
