About Nikika Carter-Hunte, N.P.
Nikika Carter-Hunte is a Family Nurse Practitioner working with ÈÕ±¾avÉ«ÇéƬ’s Alzheimer’s Disease and Memory Disorders Institute since fall of 2023.She originally began her career as an LPN in 1995 and pursued her RN at Helen Fuld College of Nursing in 1997 obtaining her Associate of Applied Science degree in Nursing. In 2000 she attended SUNY Downstate where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and later received her Master of Science in Nursing in 2021.
Nikika has over 28 years of experience in the nursing field in various roles including Inpatient Care (Neurosurgical ICU, Cardiology and Oncology), Home Care and Managed Care settings. She has also volunteered her time assisting on medical missionary trips to both Haiti and Honduras working with organizations such as the Ageno foundation and Global Brigades helping to provide much needed care to underserved populations.
Nikika is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, American Academy of Neurology, American Nurses Association and Sigma Theta Tau Honors Nursing Society. She possesses strong clinical experience and a commitment to providing the highest quality of care. She is open to accepting new patients and appointments can be made at 212-746-2441.
